Re: I just might cry

I don't quite understand--you're postponing the wedding because you can't live together first? Why do you have to live together first? It's not as if the few months before the wedding are a good test of how married life and living together is going to be--just the wedding planning is incredibly stressful, without all the extra stress of moving and starting a new job. If you're ready to be married, you shouldn't have to live together first. If your FH isn't sure you're ready to be married and need to live together first, then you shouldn't be so far along in the wedding plans. You shouldn't be finding this out a few months before the wedding.
Are you sure this is about living together? And it's too bad about your FSiL being due at that time, but lots and lots of weddings have gone ahead with bridal party members who were pregnant, whether they could or couldn't make the wedding.
I think you need to have a long, and very honest conversation with your FH about exactly why you're putting off the wedding. If you were OK with it, that would be one thing, but you're obviously not. Getting married shouldn't be so hard. Good luck! I hope everything works out.
Ditto.
My FSIL (a BM) is due the week after. We told her to HOLD on to that baby. She's been a GREAT sport. There is a small chance she won't be there...and we are OK with that.
WE NEVER wanted to live together. We had to due to finances.
Aren't you going to lose lots of $$?
Have a talk with your FH. Make sure it's BOTH of your decision.
