but i can see his point.. they go through sooo much schooling and waited so long to have that title!

FH works in a school so he says he is already tired of being called Dr. because hes paged all day and the kids all day are saying Dr. L

agreed...John served a tour in iraq and fought for our freedom

and he risks his life everyday as a suffolk cop

there are alot of things im sure hed like to be reconized for...but the wedding isnt the place in my opinion..

but I guess its different because its not like he has a Title or anything to be called by...I think if I busted my butt in law or med school id wanna use my title all the time lol

OMG this is becoming such an issue.. sorry but being an FDNY is a tough job FFIL is one and has been for 30 yrs.. BUT there is no letters that go in the front of his name or at the end.. its just different..

I already said i dont want it said... because ive always wanted to hear Mr. & Mrs. But FH should be proud of himself and if HE wanted it.. i would be ok with that.
