no you shouldnt have to pay to meet with anyone if they want your business they should not charge you to meet with them.

none of the places I went to did but one mentioned that some do!

I know that some charge a consult fee and then if you book with them they credit the amount torwards your bill or something... but all the florists I was considering using didn't charge a dime to meet with them.

I have never heard of that! Between the ones that I went to and all of my friends and family, no one ever had to pay for a meeting.

I went to 4 places..2 little local shops and 2 biggies..and NONE charges a fee for consultation.

I never heard of that...when I went they even offered to make sample CP also for free

I wondered about that myself, but I've heard most say not for the initial consult.
