OMG he just text em that they came back to him after he bought the $12 ticket and said tehy may have to kick him off and confiscate the ticket! Ill be soooo mad if they take it! I need it to get to work! And Im broke! i just had a wedding!!!

yeah that happened to me about 6 or 7 years ago. I would try to put my thumb over the M/F part and hope they wouldn't notice! It worked for a while but we eventually got caught and i was like 'oh i didn't know we couldn't share!' Like the LIRR doesn't have enough money. They should just let people do whatever they want once they give them money for their over-priced ticket

Thats sooo wrong. Was the conductor being a pain and trying to be funny because the ticket just happens to be hot pink this month???

such a scam this %&$# LIRR!!!

If you are going to travel for more than one day, you may save money purchasing one of our multiple-ride tickets. Monthly and weekly tickets are non-transferable. They are for the exclusive use of the person who first presents them, must be signed by the owner, and are subject to confiscation if used by anyone other than the owner.


I've never signed my ticket before. That's crazy!!

When I was out sick, my FH used mine and didn't have a problem. I guess he must have just gotten the wrong guy and he's being a pr*ck!

some of them are total d1cks!!! our conductor in the morning is the BIGGEST one. one day DH forgot his pass. now we see the same guy every morning, and at least 4 times i've seen him let women not pay when they forgot their passes. well, he gave DH the biggest problem, delayed the train at jamaica, all because DH didn't have $$ for a ticket - he forgot his wallet at home, that's why no ticket, and i had no cash on me. he wanted to call the cops on DH. such a MFer!! another conductor came and gave DH a bill and took my info down since DH didn't have his. easy as pie. the other conductor was just being a douche-face!!! that's my LIRR vent.

Oh no way!! He really went to the extreme. Especially, that he saw him all the time he didn't have to be so obnoxious about it. If he remembered him doing it more than once, then maybe you could see him being skeptical, but that wasn't the case. Nice guy!

Yes, I've seen people show their license and they take all of your information to send you a bill. Some people you can tell are trying to get over. I got to know certain ones on the line I used to take and most of them were really nice.

well i can tell you that i know someone who works on the railroad and there is something they punch on monthly passes that indicates if the owner is male or female...i was shocked to learn this

Thankfully no! I guess he apologized and said we mixed up our tickets and he ould be swaping with me later. ANd he said they were about to pull away from jamaica when it happened so it was pretty much too late anyway. Such as*ses
