If you are unsure about him...i would look into purchasing wedding insurance so that you will be covered for any losses. Thats what we did JUST IN CASE....If you are that unsure, try speaking to him and letting him know you are concerned...but purchase insurance.

So sorry to hear this. Is the bad reviews about him coming from one bride or many? If many people have given him negatives reviews, I would seriously consider finding someone else. As you know - your wedding is a one shot deal, no do-overs so make sure you can really count on this guy.

If and when you talk with him and you are not a 100% better..try looking into other photographers, maybe they can work with you and waive a deposit fee or something......Your pictures and video are your only memories and you shouldnt feel scared with whom you are using....definitely look at other alternatives

I changed a few of my vendors after they got some very negative reviews/comments. Wedding insurance cannot protect you from not having wedding photos. Who cares if you get the $$ back if you have NO photos anyway. Change photographers and stop driving yourself nuts.

2 of my bridesmaid used his Studio, one got him as photography and the other got my guy from VIP as the main photography.

Both got all there photos and they were great, He seems alittle quirky, but everyone seemed happy and got there stuff.

I did have a problem with him calling me way too much and then asking questions about who I was using but thats no biggie.

Dont stress yourself out, his rep is on the line, He will be at your wedding and Do a great job, If you are worried just be on top of him all the time.

but I would not want to throw $1200 away, NO WAY
