My friend threw these little things shaped like hearts, but I think they were just sugar. They completely dissolved. I don't know what they were called though. Can you do something like that?

What about releasing butterflies? My GF did that and it was pretty cool - made for some good photos.

We had most of those restrictions for outside of church. Our flowergirl was allowed to throw silk rose petals inside the church. The hall did not allow it either. Both stated it was due to previous law suits with people tripping and getting hurt. We just had our bridal party do bubbles for the photographer to take pictures. It worked out pretty good. Actually it was nice not having to dig birdseed out of our hair and clothes, so I didn't mind it too much.

I think I can only use bubbles..according to my church they are getting sued because someone has tripped on everything else...

NO rice, no flower petals, no runner allowed!

doves are pretty - and they would go along with the whole flying thing along with the butterflies! prices aren't bad either!!!!

I think there was a post recently about using butterflies and what can sometimes happen. Also about balloons and how they are bad for wildlife. You may want to do a search if you are considering either of these ideas. It's really sad. I really like the idea of ringing bells.
