It is so easy to get BC, that I would not take someone else's. You've never been on it before, you don't know how you'll react. I'd also start the pills NOW so that you can make sure they are right for you way in advance of your wedding.

I say this because I am not on BC, but I tried twice. Both times were MISERABLE failures. I think I have a very delicate hormonal balance and my body absolutely went haywire on both pills. One gave me chronic yeast infections and the other gave me a severe allergic reaction.

I think what happened to me is very uncommon BUT it is obviously possible and I would hate for that to happen to you right before the wedding.
