I'm having two flower girls, one of them will be almost 3... I don't think 2 1/2 is too young...

definitely not too young. my sister's fg (our niece) was only 14 months at her wedding. she walked down the aisle w/her brother (the rb) who was almost 4. they did a great job mainly b/c my sister took them for 3 or 4 practices before the big day. those two are now my fg and rb and they've already got two weddings under their belts. they're like pros now

For those with FG and RB do they stand up front the whole ceremony or do they go elsewhere after they walk down the aisle? For those that are keeping them up front are you having a long or short ceremony

My FG's and RB will be with the BP the entire ceremony... my ceremony is only 1/2 hour though

You think they will stand quietly for 30 mins?

My FG will be 2.5 and my RB will be 3...they are bothe hams, so I am going to have them hold hands and walk down the aisle.

It depends on the kid (at any age). Honestly it's going to depend on their mood that day. At my sister's wedding we were anticipating a great job from the flowergirl (4) and humor from the ring bearer (3) and the opposite happened. 1 of my 2 flower girls is 3 - - she seems happy-go-lucky right now, but who knows that day.

Rob-Luvs-Me... I think she will stay quiet... my MOH is their mother... if they don't stay quiet, they will be in TROUBLE! LOL!
No really... my FG's are sisters and one is 6, so I'm hoping they will be fine...
My RB will be 8 and will be with his brother who is my Jr. Groomsman and he's 10, so I'm sure they'll be okay...
Gee, now I'm worried

My neice, my FG-was 2 and a half--she walked down right in front of my sister (her mom) and was great! She had a broken leg at the time and learned to walk with her cast...I'd say go for it! Since we're all sharing pics of the cute kids..here's mine! Please notice the big white cast!

LeeLee - that pic is adorable! That is classic!
I'm hoping that 2.5 yrs isn't too young - I have a FG AND a RB who are a few months apart, but will both be not quite 2.5yrs old! The RB will be OK but not sure aobut the little girl, if they can just make it to the end of the aisle I'll be happy!! I have an older FG/RB who will carry the pillow & drop flowers so all the younger ones have to do is make it down & look adorable.
