Well like in the real world there are all sorts of people...not sure about what happened in your situation but I wouldnt let it bother you. The majority of people are very nice and helpful

Hey look at this way ...there are more of us brides here to help, unlike the 'snotty' people ( not the name I want to call them ) So pay no attention to the haters A lot of us brides want the same thing for you as for ourselves......a Wonderful Wedding Day!!!!

she said that people EMAILED her so that is why ppl are unable to read it. I guess she meant to say FM. I may be wrong.

As to the poster, don't let ppl get to you, this is a place where you find different peopl and everyone has a different way of thinking. I don't think it was nice of them to email you snotty remarks. I think it's best not to answer a post if you cannot say something productive.

thank you :o) it was FMs that i got. one said 'at least your not paying'...and the other said 'you should realize that other people have real problems, like having to call off their wedding because FH lost his job'... that's why i was aggravated, because i wasn't soliciting snotty FMs nor was i saying that i have the worst problems in the world. (sigh) i think from now on, i'll just stick to posting fluffy things that b*tchy girls can't complain about. anyway, thanks, ITA!

The FMs. I mean seriously, if someone doesn't agree with what you are saying, just ignore the post, why try to make you feel worse when you clearly were already feeling upset.

There will always be people who have not such nice things to say, on the boards as in real life. Times are tough and I guess people are overly sensitive- it shouldnt be taken out on you but it happens unfortunatly.

Ive had close friends and family make snotty remarks -- and it *****. BUt you take the good with the bad right? Dont let it get to you, although -i know- its easier said than done!

I think that sometimes things on here get taken the wrong way.

Perhaps they were saying, 'it could always be worse' because that does make some people feel better about whatever problems they are going through. A lot of people just don't know how to word it in the correct way.

Esp. when girls who are paying for everything on their own hear someone else complaining when they are getting help from outside resources. But that is not and should not be your problem and you are very fortunate but A LOT of girls get very sensitive to things like that

i guess i just wasn't thinking that i might have hurt other girls by complaining about my problems. i still think that it's not right to seek out someone and make them feel worse. i guess i shouldn't have mentioned who was paying what. i guess some people can't read past that sentence and see what i was sad about. i definitely wasn't saying 'oh poor me, my parents are paying, but i still have no money'. we're splitting basically everything with them 50/50... i wrote 99% because FH's parents aren't paying anything (not that they have to, i know!), but that's a whole other story. anyway, thanks for your input (everyone)...

and ITA = I totally agree
