Yes...my family favors dessert over dinner!!

One of the reasons I went with it is because it doesn't take up my dance floor. They do a little presentation and then the actual set-up is in an adjacent glass atrium type of room. They open up the doors to the glass room and its nice becaue people who want to still dance can and others who want a break can go inside......the room is very pretty too, it looks out on the garden.

no, my guests will be getting so much food and dessert that I didnt see a need to do it.

i am not haivng one either for two reasons:

1. our wedding is also on a sun night and since it end at 11 it would be late for everyone if we extended it.

2. we asked our friends and family (well, some not all!) and they said to skip it - so many people are full by then that they just walk around it and choose one thing....we are having a lot of food at the cocktail hr and recpetion so we opted to use that money for other things.....

Not me. I didn't think it was necessary.

We are having way too much food at our wedding so I decided not to. Besides our cake, we're having chocolate liquor cordials, and a haagen daz ice-cream truffle.

if your having a big cocktail house people will already be full by dessert time(and sometimes people leave early)

No, we want people to get up & dance & not spend another 30 min to an hour eating & didn't wanna extend the reception an hour to accomodate it.

Nope, I went to one wedding that had it and everyone left the party to go to it. I didn't like that at all. I was so full at that point anyway, so I just don't feel it is necessary.

It is worth it!!! I'm having one and I've been to weddings that have had them and they're great. Be careful if you have a mini one. My friend got married at Flowerfield and only got the mini one. It was only $2 per person then paying for the full extended hour and the food was only out for about 1/2 an hour.
