I don't think its strange. Some people like to the title MOH because they stand out from the other BMs...but all three of your BMs will be MOHs so the only down side is they wont 'stand out' as the MOH. Dont know if that made ANY sense.

well here's my dilemma. I wasnt ever really close with FSIL, but thats changing a lot and we're getting closer. One of my best friends who is one of my MOHs i've been growing distant from (she doesnt seem to want to be part of anything, like i'm forcing her to do stuff) i read that you cant really demote someone to BM, but ideally I'd do that and ask FSIL to be a BM too. Now FH is saying he wouldnt want 3 BMs because its too much, but wouldnt want 2 BM and 1 GM.

I'd demote my friend who wasn't into my wedding... not so much demote as have a discussion about how much of a role she can take.

'I see you can't really take the time to help me plan my wedding.... is everything OK? Would you like to take a lesser role? Is it too much?'

If she still wants to be your MOH, then just make FSIL a MOH too. She'll be THRILLED.
