If you can change, then I would. You dont' need to worry about the priest on top of everything else. Especially at the altar when you will be a nervous wreck.
We have a similar dilima - we are thinking of switching priests. After we met with the head of Pre Cana - he stated you can switch and all you have to do and make sure the priest you are switching to is avail for your wedding date and time.
