My dress is hand made italian satin taffeta and its gorgeous. I didn't take any offensive to the 'yuck taffeta' comments. Everyone should get a dress that flatters them. And yes, there is definitely some icky taffeta out there, but there is also icky satin and icky silk, etc. Personally, I hate silk, it just looks horrible on me.

there are beautiful gowns made out of certain materials i just didnt feel comfortable in...everyone is different.

That makes me feel so much better that you said that - I HATE how my dress looks on the designers' website on the model!! I thought I was the only one. I haven't shown anyone cause of it!!! I love my dress, but if i saw it online when I was looking for dresses I would have sooo passed it up and thought it was ugly!!!
