I never meant no one can have an opinion. That wasn't my intent at all, I do think some of the discription words used weren't the nicest. That's all

Oh girls...this is a thread if I ever saw one! And it's Friday afternoon after everyone has probably left for the weekend at the LIW offices. Tread lightly...it may be a long weekend if you're throwing out opinions about dresses. Just an old timer who's seen her share of drama throwing out some advice to you!

i almost put up a post saying how i much i hate satin.. and obviously my dress is tacky, ugly, and everyone should hate it

my dress is taffeta but not bad 80s prom dress taffeta so don't worry girls lol (dress in album).

haha nahhh i was just joking..i think i tried on dresses in every material known to man..and i really dont take things personally on here..i just found it funny that people automatically seem to have a notion of gross taffeta, when in reality most bridal gowns made out of taffeta are beautiful..my dress wouldnt be able to have the ruching (sp?) that it does in any other material-and trust me it was in no way cheap haha..i wish..

a lot are haha..ive seen dresses from almost every designer in taffeta-and i get the feeling that a lot of people who say its yucky dont even know what it is

probably not lol - the only material i know is silk, satin, and tulle lol
