is a champagne color too much of a contrast? or what about a mauve color? maybe something lighter than the cranberry of the bm dresses?

champagne would be nice, you could also put your MOH in ivory as well. Anything goes nowadays. The two colors look nice online, how do the swatches look together in person?

I think the 2 colors look nice together. Does the designer (sorry, I forgot who made the dresses) have another dress in the same fabric & color as the BM dresses that you could/would consider? I like that idea...my sister had the 3 of us in the same color but as MOH i was in a different style - skirt was same length just different cut. I plan on doing that with my girls - there's 4 of them, they'll wear the same color different dresses.

I don't really like the champagne idea - i think it photograph's like ivory and might not be something you'd want.
