i agree, and wipe off any makeup you have on today and then say you are not feeling well (i always add in that im sure its just a bug that will be fine by tomorrow...so that it looks like you have all good intentions and WANT to come in tomorrow) and then just call out early early, even before anyone comes in so you can just leave a voicemail. (or even better...call in the middle of the night and leave a voicemail) im known to do this...people would never suspect that you would actually wake up to call out so they will assume that you are really sick if youre up all night)

That's a good idea. I never call out sick but the people in our office who will tell me they have to leave early b/c they don't feel well, I'm pretty sure they will call out tomorrow as well.

haha,. i like this! i work at a hospital so there is always someone here to answer calls - but i can tell them and also leave a message for my boss b4 he gets in! Thanks ladies!

definitely start playing the sick card today so that tomorrow when you call in it wont be such a big surprise! and get the thought of possible flu like symptoms into peoples heads so you can say you just want to take it easy just in case it is something more serious!!
