be careful with Gardenias they brown almost instantly. This probably isn't the bo-q you were looking for but heres one

yeah, they do brown quickly.. I wanted to incorporate them into my bouquet as well for my grandmother but couldn't =(

Same here. I love gardenias, but the florist wouldn't do it because the flowers just don't last.

I'm using gardenias and was worried about the same thing, but florist told me that they are sprayed to preserve them longer + and is also providing me with a special box of some sort to place them in to keep them cool. I saw pictures of a summer bride and the flowers held up nicely.
