I was always told that the flower girl should be in a shade darker than the bride, that the bride should be the person in the BRIGHTEST dress. Not sure how true that is, my FG's are going to be in Champagne, so it didn't make a difference for me.

I would try to find something ivory if you are in ivory. What about something floral...I love that on the kids!

I think it depends on how ivory your dress is. They call my dress ivory but i've compared to ivory accesories(gloves for example) & my dress is not really ivory, its more like diamond white. I suggest (if possible) comparing the 2 shades next to each other to ensure its a good contrast.

I would stick to ivory. It will clash (IMO). Both my flower girls are wearing ivory.

my dress was white...and the hall told me ivory tablecloth would look dirty next to my dress...
not sure if the same would happen with FG>..and if your FG is like mine...she never left my side...

we added a sash to match the jr BMs dresses though
