i would first tell dh to start standing up for himself. i wouldn't say anything to her directly but would maybe say something for dh that's standing up for him so she knows she can't just push him around anymore bc you won't allow it...

Re: a MIL question
she's super nice to you.
it sounds more like DH's problem than your MILs. Am I wrong?
Think you just gotta tell your DH to use his balls and be a man. He's a husband now!
Then again... be prepared to just deal with DH being a puss. Some men never grow up.
xoxo, Reg. good luck!

Re: a MIL question
umm...its kinda hard to give any advice w/o more details. but if it doesnt directly affect you or DH doesnt want you help, then at this point i would probably let him figure it out
remember...you have your WHOLE LIVES together..so unless this shyt is affecting you now. you might be better holding out a bit longer
...not sure if it makes sense w/o detials....

OMG if I had a half of penny for each time I tell him to do so, we would be buying a Park Ave penthouse right now... that is why I said its sliding into our life, cause I just cant take it anymore

Re: a MIL question
i would have DH deal with it frist, just bc it seems like his problem. and if that doesnt work then i would say something.

Re: a MIL question
confront her. Men never want to be mean to their MOmmies...
But remember, the first 30 secs of a convo determine the next hour...
Start with complimenting and 5 good things about her...

Re: a MIL question
i think he needs to speak to his mom. it will hurt more and sound worse coming from you to his mom and you dont want to ruin the 'nice' relationship you have now.

Re: a MIL question
Honestly, I would probably do the passive aggressive thing despite the fact that it gets me into trouble. I cannnot say a single thing to DH about his mom- he's such a momma's boy!
ETA: Not that I have many bad things to say, but of course she sometimes gets under my skin... especially because we work together!

Re: .
I'm sorry you are going through this, I understand about MIL's. Mine was the reason ex-FH cancelled our wedding and left me this fall. FM me if you want to talk, I can tell you what not to do.
