you should definitely do a butterfly release after the church. It's sooo so beautiful a friend of mine did it at her wedding and some of the butterflies flew on to her dress-- her pix are amazing!!!

Crashing sorry...Don't do this....the butterflies will all die it is not the right season for them.
I love butterflies too!! I really wanted to incorporate them without going overboard. I put a few on my card box, pic in album, and there are a few on my custom made table numbers. I also looked into butterfly bouquet jewelry. They have some beautiful crystal pieces. They have butterfly hair pieces and jewelry. They have butterfly shoes for the flower girl. They even have butterfly collections for your ring bearer pillow, guest book, toasting glasses, and so on. It is actually a common theme so there is plenty to choose from. HTH

I love that!! I always said i would do that when i was younger i said I have to have a butterfly release at my wedding but did not want them to die in the box. I know there are alot of reputable companies that make sure they don't do it in a cruel way. I was thinking instead of having them in a box- maybe a butterfly cage so they are able to fly around . We will see..

Sarena, I was looking through the August edition of Brides magazine this morning and they have a butterfly themed placecard idea. It's cute and you should check it out!

Re: Butterfly theme!
IMO I wouldn't do a butterfly release if you love butterflies because they all die once they're released and even before
But I have seen plenty of beautiful things that incorporate butterfly designs!

Re: Butterfly theme!
I had a friend who loved butterflies. We (BMs) all wore these butterfly pieces in our hair and she had butterflies on her cake.
