maybe 5 minutes? lol we normally jsut hash it out. he is the type that only stays made for like 5 minutes then blows it off.., I am the total opposite - so we jstu chat about it and its fine after that

A few days the most but its easier for me to give him the silent treatment since he is in CT during the week. I wouldnt pick up the phone and if he wanted to talk he could text me. Id rather not talk then to say something I dont really mean ya know.

Never for very long. The prob is FH stares at me when I'm mad like he's waiting for me to say something (which annoys me more) & I just need to be left alone to cool off so I don't speak to him until I'm calm

Eh, I'm way too confrontational to give FH the silent treatment. He knows IMMEDIATELY when I am pissed off. I just can't ignore it or pretend to ignore it. Helps us get over things faster that way.

We don't do the silent treatment. If I'm mad I wanna be heard lol. After a fight we may not talk for like 20 mins but then one of us will say something totally off the subject and move on.

a night into the morning - ie - Monday, lol. When you live in a 1 bedroom apt and there is no way to 'escape' the other, silent treatment is the only option you have... I guess it's not really silent treatment, it's getting space to cool off so that you don't say something you might regret.... It's HEALTHY to argue and have disagreements, otherwise you end up ignoring things for so long that one day it all just explodes! I'd rather discuss things, have an argument and never have to deal with that issue again.

I dont think we ever have really... we are both laid back so we talk everything out.... lifes too short.. you'll regret those moments you could have been speaking believe me!

me neither..i read somewhere that the key to a good marriage is to not go to bed mad so I try to talk it out with him when we argue
at the beginning though, we would go maybe a day or two without talking..once or twice, he has left the house when we were arguing which is fine, as long as he comes back and apologizes!

half hour to an hour at the most that's if I can occupy myself for that long I am terrible at being quite and not talking to FH. I rather just talk it out immediately and get it over with.
Like Gina said i don't like to go to bed mad FH could go to bed mad if i let him but i will wake him up after a little and tell him i want to talk
totally the same!
and he's always mad when I wake him up to talk!

OMG I know... last Monday I just said ok, I have to get out of here because I can't deal with you when you are like this. I walked out of the apt, got some gas & fro yo and that made me happy!

the longest we've done it was probably 2 days and that was when we first started dating. after we talked about it, FH made it clear that we have to communicate and this silent treatment sh*t is not going to work so we've barely done it since. If we do, it lasts like an hour MAX

I usually dont last long maybe 5 min but we've been fighting about the same thing well not fighting but arguing and I wanted to show him I was sticking to my grounds and we went like 3 days.
