Flower Girl will be 6 years old.

No ring bearer...no young boys in the family except 1 that was just born in August so by time of wedding...he'd be 21 months...a little young i think. would be super cute! but a little young cuz there's always the question will they or won't they walk down the aisle. lol.

Need to borrow a Ring Bearer? I know a lot of people who have boys!

I have
1 Flower Girl - she'll be 6
1 Ring Bearer - he'll be maybe 7?

I don't know if I'm having one... maybe I can get your girls input....

My dad is a retired school teacher, and since he can't sit still, he watches his two friends kids about 3 times a week while she works from home. He brings them to the park, the older one to school, and all that jazz. I think its weird and I say he's too old to be a baby-sitter but he LOVES it (probably bc he doesn't know if he'll ever have grandkids, lol).

Anyway, my dad was like oh well the kids will be your flower girl and ring bearer... problem is, I've met them all of once in my life. I couldn't pick them out in a line-up. And I've only met the parents once. Thats great that they're all such good friends, but not to me...

Other than that, there are NO young kids in either of our families... should i have these kids? Or skip the tradition?

yeah 23 months is too young i think but if your FH wants to have her as a flower girl too at least she has the other 2 flower girls with her and if she sees them walking down the aisle she will too...put her in the middle of the other 2 flower girls as they walk down the aisle maybe.
