Re: any book suggestions?

I love Nicholas Sparks and he came out with a new book. I just started it but so far so good.

Also Sophie Kinsella has a new book.... Mini Shopaholic. I am saving that for my 6 hour flight to Vegas next week.

Ohh i just got the book the time travelers wife, but I have not even started reading it yet. I was also told the book The Art of Racing in the rain, is really good. Its written from a dogs point of view, I have this book too but haven't started it yet, I'm the worst.

Good point though, i have 3 flights between here and Seattle so I should probably bring a book as well.

I'm so happy that you're making the trip to go see him, YAY!

i loveeee the something borrowed, something blue series - ive read em all and they are too cute and easy reads perfect for a flight. i just read confessions of a shopaholic which was actually 10x's better than the movie and light and easy. umm i read 1/2 of time travelers wife (havent had the opp to finish) but i like it so far :) ooohh and Angela's Ashes is a greattt great book that i LOVED - it is a little more serious about the struggles of a family in poverty, but it is told through the eyes of a child and is hearwarming and great. HTH and have an awesome trip!

I'm a bit scattered. Historical fiction is probably my favorite genre. Some of my fav books are:

Forever (Pete Hamill)
Life of Pi (Yann Martel)
Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series
Dracula (Bram Stoker)

Water For Elephants
Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles
The Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris

ETA: The Nora Roberts Bride Quartet.
The Hunger Games Trilogy.
