We have about 145 on our list and only want our minimum, 120 - our wedding is also on a Thursday, which may factor in.

SO, we are having a B list, and two different response cards.

Wedding date: Nov 10
Mailing invites: 2nd week of August
RSVP date A: 3rd/4th week of September
2nd mailing invites: 2nd/3rd week of September
RSVP date B: 2nd week of October

I know our timing is unconventional, however, we are both teachers and want invites out before school. Also, bc it's a Thursday, I want to give people who didn't get save the dates enough time to take off, or think about taking off. And to the responses that people will just throw out the invites and not respond - I think this happens in general, regardless of the timing, so....

i'm having a b-list and this is what we're doing:

sending invites the week of August 1
RSVP is october 4 (i might make it sept 25 just for my sanity)
i figured we'll probably get a good idea of who is coming by mid/late august and we can send the b-listers off then so they still have about a month until the RSVP date
