Bless your soul, must be tough. I worked with our staff oncologist a few times while on my internal medicine rotation and it must be the most heart breaking specality. We had to discuss DNR options with a patient once...it was horrible, but the best option for the patient. The next day on rounds he became altered and died....one of the few times i cried while working.

awww omg at times it is very sad. I work on a bone marrow transplant floor so for the most part our pts do well and we send them home!
