Oh man I really hope so! I'm freaking out about this and on top of that, FHs house is in Amity Harbor, 2 houses from the water. I'm so scared hi house is under water. But we can't get down there and can't find out anything about it. I'm sooooo stressed!!!

Mines in FOUR. I'm sure it will be fine though. There is no way that they don't have a huge insurance policy on that place.

I feel like Bridgeview Yacht Club is gonna be in the same situation. I am terrified to talk to my banquet manager and see how things are there. I feel sick every time I think about any brides who have their wedding planned for this coming weekend ughhhhhh

'To all our friends please rest assured there was no fire as News 12 reported last night. We hope to be back to normal very soon. Thank you for all the calls expressing concern for our staff and their families. We hope all of you, your families and home are safe.' - VYC facebook page.It sounds like they have all intentions on repairing damages ASAP.

My mom spoke to someone who is supposed to be getting married at Venetian this coming weekend. My heart broke for them... if they don't rebuild do we get refunds? I can't imagine they wouldn't. Plus side... new beautiful venue.. :-/
Omg that is so horrible I would be devestated. That poor bride.

I'm hoping the VYC will give her options - maybe they have an opening at one of their sister properties.

suffered major damage. My parents live down the street and said some pretty bad things... apparently there was massive structure damage, flooding, and an electrical fire. :-/
I barely have internet service and no power but wanted to share the news...sorry for anyone this will immediately effect!
Hope everyone is doing ok!
This is not accurate. there was no fire. an 'incident' but no major damage apparently
