I saw that King of Queens! I've also only had to select my meal for a Florida wedding, it was totally weird!
I really don't know why miserable people have to project their negativity...try to focus on all the good stuff :)

I had a miserable vegan guest text me the morning of my wedding day saying 'I'm sure you took precautions to provide me with a meal I can eat, but should I just eat before I come?' Umm how about screw you?! BTW this guest rsvp'd for 2 people and came alone and only gave $50! She ordered her dinner then left without saying goodbye! I'm still fuming a month later LOL

How rude!! Ummm...maybe you have bigger issues on your wedding day then to be thinking about her meal. If she was so concerned she should have asked you in advance

One of my husband's friends RSVP'ed three weeks late and then wrote on his responsse 'My girlfriend is a vegetarian'. I was so annoyed. First of all, I have never been to a wedding where there wasn't a vegetarian option. Secondly, you're three weeks late, don't be making requests.

Also, I'm having a fun time laughing at all the people who were not invited with plus ones who sent back response cards with two names on them.
Weddings really do bring out the best in people lol

Haha, this reminds me of something I watched last night. On King of Queens they were going to a wedding and they had to select their dinner options in advance. Carrie's father was flipping because he selected fish and had eaten fish that week and really wanted the steak. He was trying to switch with people for steak and no one wanted to switch with him. It was really funny.
I've seen the dinner options on RSVP cards for out of state weddings, too. It's so not a big deal and it's none of her business. Just ignore her, she probably wants to start friction. When it comes to things like this for my wedding I just smile and nod.
I mentioned this episode a few posts up. I love that show!

Right? I do not want someone's flavor of the week who I will probably never meet in my pictures.

Crashing.. Sounds like she is trying to push your buttons due to her jealousy that you are getting the man she always THOUGHT she would marry.. Do not let her bother you cause that is exactly what she wants to do.. Just say 'thats not how its done in NY' and move on.. But maybe a mispell of her name on the seating card wouldnt be a bad dig..
