Travel Question - Long Island Weddings

No you should have no problems. As long as everything is current I don't see a problem.

Re: Travel Question

That's what I wasn't sure about. It's all current in the sense that the documents aren't expired, but not current in the sense my social and such is my new name.

I haven't 'officially' changed my name yet either because of this…we're going on our honeymoon in December and everything is booked under my maiden name. I haven't changed my passport, drivers license, nothing, but technically because of the marriage license, i don't have that name anymore. i'm pretty positive it won't be a problem.

Travel Question - Long Island Weddings

Just make sure that your ID like your license & passport match the name you booked the trip under & you will be fine. They don't know you legally changed it at social security

Travel Question - Long Island Weddings

You're allowed to use either your maiden or married name as long as you do it legally (read: not to commit a crime). So you shouldn't have a problem.

As long as the flight is booked in the name that appears on the passport, you are fine. No need to use your license. Your passport is the only ID you'll need.

I just re-married and my passport while still valid, shows my old married name. I called the passoport office and spoke to someone from JetBlue and as long as my ticket matches my passport, I was fine. I just got back from my honeymoon with no problems at all. I also traveled with a copy of my divorce to show proof that its me. LOL. I didnt need it though.
