XP '06: MY BIG NEWS!
We will not be living on the street as we thought we would be when we get married!
We put a downpayment on a house! Well, it's more like an apartment I guess, in a 2-Family House!
We'll be in Brooklyn (whooo hooo) - in Dyker Heights, a few blocks from where I grew up! Can't be more ecstatic right now! Such a relief!!!!!!
We start construction in March and will be ready to move in on April 15 (two weeks before the wedding ) We decided to take a wall down that currently seperates the kitchen and dinning room and re-do the whole kitchen adding an island that will seperate the dinning room and kitchen!
We have three bedrooms - one of which (the smaller one) will be for the FI's den....the other will be a guest bedroom until I decide to move my best friend in (think that'll go over smooth with FI???) Just kidding!![]()
Anyway, enough with mundane details girls, just wanted to share! I'm going to take pictures soon (need to wait for the current residents move out) and I promise to post!
