I was wondering if you found your teeth to be very sensative after. I have sensative teeth to begin with so I'm a little hesitant about doing it. My dentist said the way it works is they make a tray for your teeth, then when it comes in, you wear it with the whitening stuff for 1/2 hour a day for 10 days. Anyone use this procedure? What did you think?

Re: XP- Anyone had their teeth whitened by a dentist?
I also spoke to my dentist about whitening my teeth and i have sensitive teeth as it is. I opted not to do his trays only b/c im too scared about them hurting all the time so i went and bought the crest whitening strips. Today is my fourth day using them and my teeth are already so white! Im not going to lie, i feel some sensitivity at times, but it goes away in a few hours.

YES - and I have sensitive teeth.
This stuff works WONDERS. Its a fluoride rinse - use it 2 weeks before whitening, and if you're doing crest strips or something like it, continue while whitening.
I actually use it everyday - its an anti-cavity rinse.
ACT Anti-Cavity Fluoride Rinse
I buy it in Target for about $4
eta: I had ZOOM whitening done by Dr. Laura Zanelli in Melville. She's awesome! She recommended the fluoride to me.
