1) What is the difference between 'Diamond White' and 'White?'

2) Can you get married in the Catholic Church if you've had children out of wedlock? (Don't worry, I'm not pregnant and don't have kids...asking for a friend - I swear!)

1) still trying to figure that one out myself

2) I think certain parishes has discretion on that- some churches will do it and I think some will not. It may depend on the order of the priesthood of the church. 'shop' around if one church won't do it.

Diamond white is a very bright white.. almost platnum.

And yes I think you can get married at a church with a child out of wedlock but it all depends on the church. Every one has its own rules & regulations.

btwn the 2 whites -

Diamond has a tint of blue in it -
white is a touch softer -like pearl

about the church and kids - i dont see why not i have see girls that are 8 mts walking down to get married in a RCC

I was told the same thing. Diamond white is not as stark as white white. I better have not been misinformed. I ordered my dress in daimond because I did not want white. I tried a dress on in Diamond and it was definitely more like an ivory color. I'm freaking

dont freak!!!! im pretty 99% sure that is what it is, because i remember saying how common sense would lead you to believe the other way because diamonds are so bright... and we all had a discussion about it...

Just saw something on ebay girls!

Diamond white is not STARK white...it has an ivory/off-white hint to it.

Yup, that's what I was told. Regular White has more of a blue tint.... diamond white is more towards ivory.

2-YES YOU CAN GET MARRIED IN A CATHOLIC CHURCH WHEN YOU'VE HAD CHILDREN OUT OF WEDLOCK. THEY JUST FROWN ON IT.

WHITE

This is the true stark white color. If your gown is called white, this should be the color for you. EXCEPTION: Silk is not a pure white fabric, therefore Diamond White usually works best with those gowns.

DIAMOND WHITE

This is a 'soft white' or 'off-white' color. It looks white until you hold it up next to a white veil, then you can see a very subtle color difference. It was actually created for white silk gowns, as the natural fiber is not a stark white color. This color will look WHITE against an ivory (even light ivory) gown.

2. I agree with Jessica, I believe different parishes have their own 'rules' when it comes to that sort of thing.

dimond white is a off white but still bright, just a bit toned down from white

yes, i believe you can still g et married eventhough your freind has kids. as long as she was not married in the church once b4 i belive you cant.. unsure though

Each RCC has it's own rules. Depending on who heads it, some are more stricter than others.
