Thanks for all the hair salon suggestions girls!! I couldn't take it anymore and searched CitySearch yesterday for a salon near my job...so glad I did!!

Before I go on and post my fat mug on here, I have to rave about the salon. For NYC girls that are in Midtown - this place is a gem!! They were beyond friendly and knowledgeable and treated me so nice!! The best part is that they have 'real' prices, not overinflated like you would expect in the area. They are next to Warren Tricomi but you would never know it. Love them...please go to them (the owner Anthony was awesome), they rock!!

I donated my hair to Locks of Love (all 14 inches of it!!) and I feel a million times better!! Love the new hairstyle!! If you are able to, I recommend doing so.

Ignore the face (ugh, the wonder of post wedding weight gain) & the pictures since my hubby took them really close up - just look at the hair...

It feels totally weird, but in a great way!! I love it and washing it is sooo easy now!!

I had to do 2 pony tails and no, no pictures. But I felt a chill when he cut it...isn't that odd? It is liberating!!

I know..when I felt her cutting the ponytail it was this huge monent and I can;t believe how easy it is to style now, or how much money I'll save on shampoo!
