I'm looking for an externship to complete for my Mental Health Counseling degree. My supervisor has to be a Psy D., Ph D. CSW, or licensed mental health counselor. I'd really like to do it in a hospital but i'm open to gen. counseling centers.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

i am not sure how it works for MHC....but for LMSW who want to be LCSW's we cant do our hours at a school or a hopsital bec its not considered 'clinical'...i can check here at my job and see....we have a mental health side for children and drug and alcohol side for adults and children of addiction... as soon as i get info, i will let you know! xo

We can be externing anywhere except in private practice as long as our supervisor is a Psychologist, CSW, or Licensed Mental Health counselor.
