Wedding Countdown

Every time I think about the wedding, I cry! Not because I don’t want to marry FH but because I can’t believe we are finally doing it! We have been together for 10 years!!!! Engaged for 8 of those!!!! Every time we started to plan something would come up and we’d have to put it on hold. We’ve been through SO much these past ten years….he had a crazy @rse stalker that tortured us for 2 years, he was unemployed for a year; I was unemployed for almost TWO years, we had our car repo-ed during unemployment, utilities shut off on us, we both had really bad issues with our families. You name it.
The past year we’ve finally got on our feet and in September we started putting money aside for a wedding. Then when the financial markets started to go down hill and companies and stores began to close, we decided to plan a smaller wedding at a small venue in a short amount of time before disaster struck us again, LOL. So the second week of January of this year we started planning for our March wedding; giving us two months to plan and not much time to save additional money so we have just a $10K budget if you can believe it!
We were nervous about family reactions because we both come from strained family relationships but the support has been phenomenal and that gets me all teary-eyed to!!!!
For the first time in a very long time things are going so well and are falling into place for us and it’s been like a dream. I am so grateful for everything and I thank God for giving me this day. (Please God, please don’t let this be a set-up for some soon to come disaster,![]()

Anyway….here I am at working in tears over this again and everyone thinks I’m nuts, LOL.
