XPost: Baby Shower Question

Hi All,

My mother and I are throwing a baby shower for my brother's wife. It is going to be be a Sunday or Saturday brunch.

I am looking for some ideas for fun favors and games that we can play, and any other unique/nice touches we might be able to add.

I would love suggestions based on showers you've been to/thrown/heard about.

diaper game.. You melt different chocolate bars on it and people guess what candy bar it is....
favors you can do cookies...

I just attended a shower this past saturday. They played baby bottle bowling. They took a good sized ball and lined up baby bottles filled with something to weight them down, and you just did it like you would normally with the set up for bowling. They also did who can drink the juice/soda, whatever, out of the bottle the quickest. Everyone gets a bottle filled with beverage and you have to suck it down. I have to say this was the funniest thing, since it was a co-ed shower, the two guys that did it were making me laugh so hard.

They did the baby poo candy in the diapers and people had to guess what it was. Blind folded baby food feeding contest. You have to blind fold the feeder, and the other one has to shout out directions of where to put the spoon so that it will get into their mouth heh. It was fun!

Everyone can get a necklace with a pacifier on it. You are not allowed to say the word 'baby', 'birth' or anything like that. If someone says it, someone can ask for their necklace. Whomever has the most necklaces at the end of the night wins a prize.

There is also baby shower bingo. Similar to bridal showers. Everyone gets a bingo card and write down presents in each slot. Whomever gets bingo first wins a prize.
