xpost fm 2010...fireworks!

ok, soooooo i'm getting married July 3rd. Here's the coolest thing:

FH and I started dating during the month of july, and the first time we kissed, fireworks (LITERALLY!) started going off outside lol, it was cool so i was wondering....

how awesome would it be to end the wedding with fireworks?

has anyone looked into this? i wonder how much it costs, b/c i'm assuming it has to be done professionally for the cops not to show us and cart us away! lol

i know this is a long shot, but does anyone know?

tia!

i have no idea how much that would cost, but what if you did sparklers...like after the church instead of throwing flowers, or doing bubbles...that would be really pretty!

i was thinking about that, but we r gettin married at the rh at 5, and it wont get dark til like 830, and we're not leaving til everyone's gone, so even a sparkler send-off won't work.

i can't be the only one who's thought of fireworks, can i? lol

Have you looked into whether any communities near the RH will be having fireworks displays that night? You might get lucky and have the fireworks without having to shell out the $$$

yup. This is the price I heard too. You would need to get permission from the town AND the hall.

you can contact grucci.
I asked about it because flowerfield does it and FH used to work with grucci, he's a fireworks nut!
but they want like 5 grand for 2 min.
Bay fireworks may offer it as well.
check with your RH first and see if they allow it. That's abig no-no most places

a lot of girls on platinum weddings do it all the time, but it's a lot of $$$.. but being that you're doing your wedding on july 3rd, you might just luck out and get some fireworks anyways...

My Brother owns a fireworks company...it depends on your Hall if they allow it and if the Fire Marshall alows the space to have fireworks...Each show is a diffrent price depending on the stuff you want and the lenghth and details of the show...you can contact Bayfireworks if you want for a quote and they will tell you how much it cost...they are the ones who did the David Tutera episode with the fireworks....good luck.

im getting married july 3rd too and thought about this. the lowest price i could find was about $4,000. I was honestly considering it (I was delusional) and then I called RH & they said NO WAY.....too dangerous. Before you go out of your way looking for quotes, call your RH & ask.

HTH & Good luck!

if its July 3rd, chances are there will be SOMEONE out there in the neighborhood shooting off some fireworks...
its the nature of the beast, so i would save the $1000/minute (which i have heard they can be) and use it on the HM.

ok, i did contact bay fireworks....apparently they had tried to do this at the WSCC for a wedding in the recent past, and because it's state owned, they couldn't get the permits.

ahhhhh well....i guess that saves a few thousand bucks! lol

i will be hoping for random fireworks that night tho!

thanks, ladies :)

Yes thats where I saw it and most of the time the Fireworks are like my entire RH budget.

I usually ask FH to go broke for them but he says no
