Xpost from '08: Vendor Rave Arcadia and Flower Michele
Last night, FH and I got into our Zipcar and headed towards LI from the city.
We were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic from the city and we were 40 minutes late to meet with John at Flower Michele.
He was totally understanding and waited for us. We were greeted with a warm smile. I went over changes from my original meeting with him and he was totally cool and gave great ideas. I can't wait to finally see a sample centerpiece. He's such a sweetheart.
Next up, we went to check out our band's showcase. For those who haven't booked a band or have friends that are looking for a band, look no further than Arcadia. Working in the music industry, I tend to be a little jaded when it comes to music. These guys were amazing! The opened up with Leona Lewis' 'Bleeding Love' and then straight into Rihanna 'Please Don't Stop the Music.' FH and I were trying our hardest not to get up from our seats to start dancing. (we're goofballs.)
Anyway, it was a GREAT night. We had to rush back to the city to drop off the zipcar so unfortunately, we didn't get to eat dinner out there. We ended up at the diner at 10:30 pm.
I can't wait till the wedding!!!!
