xpost from BHB: where to get my shoes dyed?

Does anyone have recommendations for where I can bring my shoes to get dyed? I bought them online so I'm hoping there's somewhere I can go that won't charge me an arm and a leg. Also, I'm not sure if I can bring them just anywhere since I bought them on the web.

I'm not sure what she charges because I bought my shoes there but I used after five in port washington. I know she dyes shoes there

Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa will dye them for you regardless of where you bought them. You just need to bring in a swatch of the color you want to dye them. I think they charge either $15 or $20, I can't remember.

i don't think that any place will do it for free...but it's usually a minimal cost...

Craft shoes in Commack... i think it was $20

I used Rhea Nichols in Rockville Center, it is $20 and the ladies are extremely nice & helpful.

double ditto! they do a great job... I bought my wedding day shoes online as well... they dyed it no problems!
