Have you ever heard or been to Swing the Tea Pot? If so, mind sharing your opinions? My sister said it would be an awesome place for my mad hatter tea party/shower...

I love Swing the Teapot! But It's an Irish Tea Place, with sandwiches, wraps, burgers, etc... So I don't think it fits your traditional tea party. It doesn't hurt to check it out and see if they will close for a private party. I had a Tea Party shower also.

If you're interested in a caterer, I have the name of one who will do finger sandwiches and homemade scones. We had a 'tea party' for my friend's shower last weekend at her parents' and the food was EXCELLENT. FM me if you want the info.
Otherwise, my favorite place for tea is Lady Mendl's Tea Salon in the city. There's also a place in Farmingdale but the name is escaping me.
