xpost: hair/makeup in queens

Can anyone reccomend their makeup artist in queens? (Pref. in or near astoria). My eparty is this July on Roosevelt Island, and I want to have my hair and makeup done!

I just want it up (since its gonna be a bbq outside in july)...something very simple, maybe just a pony tail w/ curls or something.

im a spaz w/ a curling iron.

when i try to curl my hair the edges get all weird looking and bent.

im all for this class. b/c im a huge spaz, yet i have two curling irons, curling hair products and my hair comes out lke this when i try to curl it

I worked so hard on it...it came out lik crap...i didnt feel like re-doing it bc i was late. So that was my thanksgiving day hair. Luckily, my family doesnt care.

i think they do bc ive seen it on their price list but i have no idea how well they do make up sorry. Ive gone there to get my hair done for occasions thats all.

I loved how they did my make up, i had no issue with that and i went more than once lol even when i was a bm i got make up done there and they did a good job and i know you had a bad experience with make up there but she was real nice to me maybe i got her on a good day lol. I got annoyed when they did my hair that i had an issue with.

i do have pics from when i got my hair done at friends, had it done more than once and loved it. Also the first time i did red, had it done at Friends.
