xpost: Locations for Engagement Pictures

Hi everyone! I posted this on the 2014 board, but I figured I would post it here as well:

FH and I are looking for a location to take our engagement photos. Specifically, we are looking for a park somewhere in Long Island. Any suggestions?

Hekscher Park in Huntington is nice with a lake.
Caumsett State Park in Huntington has a LOT of good places to take pics.
Sagtikos Manor has a lot of nice elements (it's in Bay Shore) as well

Also a few of the arboretums would be nice.

I def agree Heckscher park in huntington is really nice....I know I will probably wait for warmer weather but I was told the Westbury gardens are beautiful!

Argyle Park is nice and Caumsett State Park. There are so many great parks on LI. You can def Google.

We were considering Heckscher for our e-pix, but decided against it. It has great sentimental meaning to us, so we want to do our First Look there, and didn't want to double dip. LOL.

However, we tried to reach them several times about site fees and never got an answer. Does anybody know if there is one?
