Love this! Thanks for sharing. I'm planning on trying this in the heels of my reception/after party shoes.

Great! Let us know how it goes. Make sure you purchase the crystals online (I used eBay), it's way cheaper than going into a craft store and they are still great quality!

They were just Hot Fix Swarovski Rhinestone crystals, I think the color with that iridescent hue over them is called Crystal AB. Here is the seller I purchased from, they were reasonably priced and if I recall correctly, they were quick shippers. Ebay seller

Did you hot fix them on the shoes? Or did you glue?

I posted the info in my blog if you need all the info but yes, they did already have the glue on them. The ones with the glue are the ones that are called 'hot fix'.

I made my own crystal shoes and starting my bridesmaids heels...I was going to suggest using the glue because the regular flat backs are cheaper. Hot fix is more expensive.

Good suggestion, Ill have to look into that for next time. I purchased 4 different sizes, each set came in a pack of 144 (gross) and they ranged from $3.50-$4.50 per pack so I didn't think they were that pricey, is this a lot more than you paid?
