I finally told two coworkers that I'm pregnant just two days ago. They were very happy for me blah blah. But since then, they have been SUPER ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!
Today I walked up to them while they were chatting and one says to me 'you really look like a mom to be' to which I said, ' I hope not too much since it's still early' and the other one says 'You got wider. I think you'll carry wide.' and the other one responds, 'Yes, I think you'll carry in your hips.'
I couldn't believe it. I'm so self conscious as it is with my body changing without them looking me up and down and critiquing me! Now I know what other pregnant women complain about. People think they are free game for all their stupid comments!
vent over and now I feel like a cow

ugh, that's the thing. They aren't. They are both older women who don't think they are being rude at all, just making their observations which hurt even more! They are both very good to me and both came to the wedding but they just have no filter. Worse than my mom!

I'm sorry lady - and although like you said they probably mean no harm by their comments, it still hurts to hear that when you're going through body changes.
I'm sure you look beautiful and are absolutely glowing!!! And even if you are carrying in your hips as they say, you are so tall and gorgeous, that I'm sure it barely even shows. And even if it does, I'm sure it still looks beautiful and you're going to be one of those preggo ladies where it all is just in the belly.
I've been told that I will probably hold it all in the hips before and I'm not even preggo lol

DH is too sweet. He just left me this at my desk. My favorite macaroons. As he SHOULD. He's the one that did this to me

they are just clueless & def have no filter.. doesn't make it right but you should know that you can't take what they say serious! you have a beautiful shape! you looked gorgeous at your wedding & you are going to look so beautiful with a prego belly!!!!!!!!! cannot wait to see a pic!

I was gonna post the same thing!! People are such terds!! Pay them no mind and just remember being pregnant is such a beautiful amazing thing, there are so many out there that can't have lil ones and wouldn't care if they looked liked godzilla if it meant they could be a mommy!! Wear your pregnancy proud and tell the old hens to cluck off!! I am sure you look radiant!!
