xpost - tipping banquet managers

I have a friend getting married this weekend who was asking me if she needed to tip her BM. She was told that none the Maitre D tip goes to the banquet manager so she wasn't sure if a tip is expected. Do any of you know if you are supposed to give and if so, how much?

as far as i know, the BM does not get a tip

ITA they get commission off the damn wedding they better not expect a tip also!

My banquet manager told me the only person that is to be tipped is the mait're d because gratuity is included in my PRICEpp

dont forget your bridal attendant if you have one! for my hall at least, they need to be tipped separately

yup these are the only two people that should be tipped
