do nothing, tell him not to call you anymore and dont even bother talking to him. I mean if its over then theres nothing to deal with

is there a reason you are confused as to what to do?

Don't speak to him anymore. You have to cut them off.

exactly, i had ex's who after tried to contact me, i just completely ignored them, wouldn't even answer or anything.

This really shouldn't be a problem if you are happy with where you are now and have moved on

Re: X's are like an addiction

I had the same issue with an ex that was married and now has 2 kids....he kept calling me wanting to spice things up. No thanks! I first answered, but once I found out what he wanted, I told him that I just lost all respect for him. SOmeone that can't respect his wife, his kids or even himself is no one I want anything to do with. He got the idea after that.

next time tell him to please stop contacting you and you are geting married. And then ignore him.

just simply tell him to back off . say that your life has gone in a different direction and there has been alot of changes in your life now and he just isnt a part of it.

Um, you're getting married. I don't really see why this is an issue. You ignore them.

Tell him to leave you alone. How long ago did you go out with him that he is still calling you??!!!

Tell him you are getting married and that he lost his chance!!!

Re: X's are like an addiction

I have this problem from time to time. We dated like 8 years ago and he still says weird things to me (I am friends with all of my exes so I keep in touch with them all).

For me it goes in one ear and out the other. And he's getting married this year!! Dirtbag.

Tell him to leave you alone. For me it doesn't matter what my ex says. I'm in my own little love-village with my FH. But i do feel sad that he's going into a marriage while he's still saying crapola like that to me. His poor FW. Who knows if he's saying the same stuff to another woman. I wouldn't be surprised.

are you enjoying his comments? If so, you should reevaluate your relationship with your FH. But if it doesn't matter to you, tell the ex to buzz off.

ETA: I'm also a little concerned about the title of this thread 'X's are like an addiction.' That's a strange way to put it isn't it? From the title it seems like YOU are addicted to the attention from your ex........?
