The only thing they could do to satisfy you considering the 30 day time constraint would be to

1. Give you back some $$$
2. Free Thank You cards

maybe they can throw in some monogrammed napkins or matchbooks or something!!! you're right - at the very least let them know they've been caught.

Misty I know what those invites cost because I looked at them for my own wedding. They are gorgeous!! For the $$$ you spent, they should definitely make amends!

Definitely call and complain. In effect, they stole from you!!! That's not right. Demand something in return. They did not live up to your contract with them!!!

hmm..what a low trick - they mixed them so you wouldn't see them until toolate - don't let them get away with it...call and complain!!

You should really say something! That would really make me a bit mad. Especially because you picked that special paper...

Re: A little too late, but annoyed at Encore Invites!

My name is Brian Lawrence and I am Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Encore Studios. A dealer contacted me about your posting on the web site.

We are very sorry you received a different grade of paper on an enclosure. What I am suspected that happened is that you didn't get a different paper but there was a defect in our finishing process to give the paper the finish and texture that is supposed to be on all pieces. And we are certainly willing to work out some sort of credit through your dealer so please have them contact us and give us a sample of what your talking about.

However, the connotation that was a deliberate attempt to get away with gypping you and intentionally sneaking in a lower grade paper is completely unfounded and untrue.

You contact the hundreds of dealers we have in Long Island and thousands of brides that purchases our product and you will get a truer picture of our company.

Unfortunately the web creates a different type of reality and caring businesses and people can be perceived as not caring and as a big monster that took advantage of the lowly consumer.

We are in Clifton, NJ and I invite you to see our operation and you can tell me after that if you feel that we deliberately did this to you.

We are International Greeting Card Association award winners for designs, we have national ads in leading wedding magazines, we have 5000 dealers. We have been in business for 25 years. What do you think we would possibly gain by such a practice? Our reputation is everthing to us.

So I am asking you to please contact your dealer and
after we settle this matter please retract this perception that we were doing something deliberate.

You would have seen how quickly we would have rectified this had we known about it and not given the chance to do this, at least give us the chance to remedy this situation and them be fair to us and report what happened....

Sincerely,

Brian Lawrence
