Re: Xyron machine...which one is good for a beginner?
it depends on what you want it for. The machines range in size from a 12 inch one to a 1.5 inch one. I have 3 sizes at home. One that is 8.5 inches wide, one that is 5 inches wide and the small one that is 1.5 inches wide. I use them for all different things.

The large one (12 inch) is great for bigger die cuts & things.... but the small one I have (maybe 1 1/2 inches is great for my small Sizzlets letters! So I like both!

Can you use the bigger one for smaller projects or do you really need them in different sizes? I'm thinking about getting one also & have never used one.

You waste a lot of adhesive using the larger machine. My small letters are only maybe 3/4 of an inch & the larger size is like 10-12 inches wide.
