YAAAYYY!!!!!!

YAAAYYY!!!!!!

Well we went wedding band shopping today and found out they changed the style on the ring I have so they no longer carry a matching band. They said they would try to find one to get it in for me. In the meantime I went over to my moms house and told her the whole saga. We were all talking about wedding bands in general and she decided to pull out my grandmothers set she inherited( they were married in 1934!!). Well I put it on and it looked perfect with my E-ring!!! So I am going to see if I can get it polished up and repaired (it has pave diamonds, but I think it is missing a couple chips). I am soooo excited to be able to have a piece of family jewelry and now I have my something old too

AND... while I was fishing around her jewelry box I found the perfect drop pearl necklace with matching earring so I have my something borrowed too

i keep BEGGING my grandma for my great grandmothers ring... but she keeps telling me literally over her dead body...

Actually it does!! It's diamond chips so they aren't as big, but it's double banded like that. OH I hope it looks like that when it gets all cleaned up!!! Thanks for sharing yours It's beautiful!!

That's great...we are doing the same thing. My mom and grandmother both wore my great grandmother's wedding band, and now I will get it also. It is similar to that one, but thinner.

Mine is pave diamonds too. I'm sure with a good cleaning it will shine even more than it does already.

Congrats on such a beautiful find!!! Your Grandmother was a lucky lady to have such a nice ring back then. It's beautiful and wear it in good health and happiness. It looks perfect with your ring.
