let me restate that, i don't hate all the fans, only the ones who came on board in 1996 or after
or the ones who move here from other states and root for the yanks automatically because they're the champs
or girls who jump up and down like loonies at yankee games only because 'my boyfriend likes the yankees' or because 'derek is cute'![]()

And unfortunately , I will admit that one of the biggest drawbacks to the post season is that the truest, most faithful Yankee fans don't often get the opportunity to go to the games because the corporate big wigs, certain season ticket holders, and scalpers have a monopoly on the tix![]()
Which is why , in a way, during the post season I love to sit in the upper decks.. that's where the REAL FANS are
