Yankee Fans: Who hates the Fox announcers as much as I do?

I simply cannot stand them They are completed biased towards the Yankees IMO

Hey, I'm not expecting them to be pro-Yankee. They should not be pro-ANYONE! They are broadcasting on national television and should be completely impartial. Yet I notice over and over how they'll downplay any positive Yankee moment and totally bash them when they are doing poorly. Or make note of things the Yankees 'SHOUD' have done better, but make nothing of a Boston faux pas.

This is not only happening this year .. this is EVERY YEAR in the post season I am forced to listen to them broadcast the games!! BLEECH

I swore last night that if I had to listen to Tim McCarver, Al Leiter and esp. Joe BUCK one more night I would mute the sound and put on the radio !!!!

OK -- rant over!! I just hope our boys win tonight so they can shut them up for awhile!!!

I completely agree - they're always talking trash against the Yanks!! I especially can't STAND McCarver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree 100%. I HATE Joe Buck. He knows nothing about the game of baseball. I can't stand how anti-Yankee he is. And just wait for if the Yankees play St. Louis in the world series. Buck & McCarver are huge Cardinals fans.

I am very tempted to hit the mute button and listen to it on the radio. I can't stand these announcers. And Al Lieter? No offense to him but when did he become a broadcaster? They couldn't find anyone else to do these games with them?

I thought Al Leiter wasn't that bad. Keep in mind he is a rookie announcer... this is only his second year.

But Tim McCarver is a total and complete idiot. I can't even remember the number of times I had to hear him say 'The Mets move of Jose Reyes to second base for Kaz Matsui was one of the worst moves they ever made.'

Well DUH Tim... but what he doesn't fail to mention is if they didn't tell Kaz he was going to play short... he wouldn't have signed with the Mets in the FIRST Place! Now that Kaz is locked in for two more years... Reyes is going back to short.

But still... McCarver is such an idiot. He is so pro-yankee... anti-met (probably cause the Mets fired his *** years ago).

First of all:

DjPill - I said YANKEE FANS in my post subject line. Are YOU a YANKEE FAN? Nope, didn't think so

But since you made some statements, I'll respond. No way in He!! is Tim McGarver PRO-YANKEE. FAR from it. Just listen to him call a game. Its sickening. They are nearly gleeful with happiness when the Yanks start tanking - that goes for him and Buck, not so much Leiter. I swear I should mark down each and every time either McGarver or Buck slight the Yankees or say something highly inappropriate for supposedly 'unbiased' commentators. But anyhow.......

As for Leiter. Puhleeze, don't get me started. He just doesn't belong there - period. Let him go do the play by play for the Mets whenver he decides to retire, just like so many former Yankees do for the regular season such as Girardi and O'Neill. He'll be well suited for that, but certainly not this.

The only thing Leiter brings to the table is over-analyzation of every pitch that the average viewer could care less about. If I see them flash to the booth and show good old Al , demonstrating by holding a baseball 'this is how you hold the ball when you want to throw a curveball' I think I'm going to hurl

I agree Felicia. I don't care if Al is a rookie announcer there is no need for him to be there. He's awful and there are plenty more experienced announcers who could be in there.

Maybe McCarver is pro Yankee when the Mets and Yankees play each other but in all other games he is Anti Yankee.

OMG, I have been saying this for years. They are always bashing and putting down the yankees. Even when they were winning 19-8 the other night, they still found crap to bash them over. I hope one of our world series bound Yankees hits a foul ball tonight that hits Joe Buck in the friggin head. Maybe it'll knock some sense into him, maybe he'll actually know the game then.

I have all my kiddies at school praying for the Yankess and I am calling up to a higher power. My brother who passed away was a die hard huge Yankee fan, I am praying up to him tonight!!

GO YANKEES!!!!!!

Although I hate Al Leiter, he is definitely one hundred times better than Mike Piazza who they had once before!!

I watch the whole game on mute so I do not have to listen to them. I can't wait till the post season is broadcasted some place else

Me. I hate them.

My poor mom - she just moved to Baltimore, so she can't get YES anymore. It's really difficult on her to have to sit through those Morons on Fox.
